Virgola is a slow food restaurant in Brooklyn, NY, which serves delicious and healthy dishes from breakfast through Dinner. Slow food is an international movement as an alternative to fast food, and virgola ('comma' in Italian) represents a break from our busy daily routine. The restaurant uses the freshest, best quality ingredients in all of its offerings from local Brooklyn Roasting Co. coffee to homemade pastries (including heralded chocolate croissant) to inventive salads, paninis, prepared foods, burgers, and more.

Metamorphous Typeface is a group of transforming letters on 2-dimensional circles that come together as one and make up a 3-dimensional sphere.

Meguro Parasitological Museum (MPM) is the world's only parasite museum, located in Japan. This museum exhibits over 300 specimens of both human and animal parasites, and challenges visitors to embrace parasites as their friends without feeling of fear, because every living thing on earth is connected by its simple impact on other organisms. Whether it is direct or indirect relationship, because one effects the other, and the both make a web of life, every living organism is considered as a part of population and environment of the world.

Ways of Seeing
Someone asked a homeless man on the street what the worst part about being homeless is, and he replied, “No one sees me.” As passers walk by ignore their existence on sidewalks, in parks, in subway stations, homeless people go unseen everyday no matter who they are and who they were before. It’s hard to imagine how someone can go from having a home one day to being out on the street the next, but it can be caused by any sort of tragedy, such as economic factors and natural disaster. However, when we pass by them we ignore all the stories behind them.
This is a campaign project to reveal unheard stories from the homeless and to raise awareness on how stereotyping can keep us from seeing the full picture.
We first started with visiting Apostles Soup Kitchen in NYC, and interviewed the homeless and heard their unexpected life's stories. Then, we transcribed their stories into patterns by hiding true facts about them by representing how stereotypes block our sights to view them as an equal human being.

Bloom is a mobile premium beauty membership in Korea that offers great deals to their customers to enjoy a luxury and personalized beauty care and experience. The customers can check daily updates on offer on the mobile application and easily purchase the item by adding money in their accounts.

Green Depot Light Bulb
This is an environmentally-friendly light bulb packaging for a Green Depot energy smart light bulb. The goal was to make packaging that requires less energy by using minimum cut, ink, and material, and gives the most protection with folds on top and bottom that hold the light bulb securely. The packaging is made out of 100% single sheet of recycled chipboard.
Fong Lee Metal has been a well established contract manufacturer of oilfield equipment in Singapore for the past 30 years. To continue the brand grow bigger and stronger against local and international competitors, they needed a make-over on their visual identity. The new logo still emphasizes their initial 'FL' and contains the same circle motif from the old one, however, it was newly born in a simple and modern way to communicate the brand timelessly.

Aging is a natural part of the process of life. However, our understanding of aging is often a complex and fluid thing. For example, is measuring our age strictly by our birthdays the best way to understand the changes that are taking place to us as time passes? Aging is in fact a multi-dimensional process that includes physical, psychological, and social changes. We can appear to be notably younger or older than our chronological age for example.
My aim with this project is to make a digital tool that helps people develop a more accurate and rounded understanding of their age. By highlighting the three key changes we face as we age, my goal is to help people achieve balance - to understand that the choices they make might result in aging prematurely or might be preventing them reaching maturity.
By playing a true and false game that starts with a series of 36 questions based on three life perspectives (biological, psychological, and social aging) in aging, people are made aware of the multi-dimensional process of aging and as a result can develop a more holistic picture of themselves as they travel through life.

Mihn Phu, a leading seafood corporation in the heart of Vietnam, has been farming and exporting shrimps around the world for the past 20 years. However, in order to compete against local and international competitors, they needed a new transition on their visual system. The new logo comes with a simple, yet powerful approach that contains simplified shrimp look, and the color contrast and harmony between dark navy and coral pink let the brand stand out over the other competitors to mark a new era in the seafood industry.

Onsaemiro, which means 'oneness' in Korean, is a modernized type of traditional Korean cuisine delivery service. Unlike Western cuisine that follows appetizer, main dish, and dessert chronologically, Korean dishes are largely composed of rice, soup, and side dishes that are served on one table at the same time. With the idea of being served together as one, Onsaemiro lets customers to choose their favorite Korean dishes in each category, and delivers their customized meal in one package to the door.
With the initial of my name, Juyeon, I designed a logo representing my bright, ambitious, and well-rounded personality. Based on the logo design, other deliverables such as business card and business letter come along together.
